Bupa Manchester Run 2009

A big thank you to all those who sponsored me for the Manchester Run.

A number of us from Moffatts took part including John Saxon, Theresa Saxon, Jo Blundell, Rachel Gu and John Smith

We all got round in pleasing times, in particular a big cheer for Jo who had the misfortune of a hamstring injury just 3km in. Despite this she got round.

I set out to knock a couple of minutes of my previous time of 1hour 2 minutes from last year. I successfully achieved this despite a rotten stitch from 3.5km to 7km, completing the task in 59minutes and 33secs.

I will let everyone know how much I raised for Cancer Research UK as soon as the final figures are in.
